Brief Summary :

In commemoration of world head and neck cancer day, Indonesian Head and Neck Oncologist Society, Indonesian National Cancer Control Committee, Indonesian Radiation Oncology Society,CISC and Department of Radiotherapy Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital held a public symposium named "Head and Neck Cancer Talk Show: discussion with the experts: Prof.DR.Dr.Soehartati Gondhowiardjo , DR.Dr.Sonar Soni Panigoro, Marlinda Adham,MD, PhD, and DR.Dr.Andhika Rachman ", on 10th of August 2017 in Department of Radiotherapy Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital. The symposium was attended by 180 participants and 11 experts from various specialty such as ENT, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Medical Nutrition, Medical Rehabilitation, Radiology, Ophtalmology , Psychiatry, and Dentistry. The first session of this symposium was presentations about cancer problem in Indonesia, epidemiology, etiology, symptoms, prevention, early detection, and the treatments of head and neck cancer, then followed by head and neck cancer survivors' testimony. In the middle of this session, all the participants were asked to perform head and neck yoga led by one of the head and neck cancer survivor. The last session was a panel discussion, a Q&A session, which discuss the comprehensive aspect and what the audiences need to know about head and neck cancer
